I am writing this post to mention the latest and greatest in web design techniques: Parallax Responsive Web Design.
The method is composed of using layers on a webpage with some moving at different speeds which creates a pseudo 3D affect in sliders and page scrolling. I think it is a great addition to modern non-static web design if not over used.
A key in properly using parallax wordpress templates is to make sure all images are optimized to lessen the bandwidth load of the page. This new method shows up excellently in mobile devices.
