"Who Me?"

There's a time in everyone's life when we grow or go insane,
because of the pain of which comes from a place we refuse to see.
Who me?

Steps heard running in the alleyway,
sirens screaming,
dogs barking,
"Who goes there?"

BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!

I was only fourteen,
one in the back,
one in the neck,
ear clipped raw.
They cuffed me anyway...Bastards!

They were my friends,
these friends of Satan,
how blind I was to befriend devils.
How blind I am to trust my antimatter destiny...FLASH!

Nine millimeter,
gloch,
blood on my sleeves.
Where was I,
Oh, to live so dangerously,
"Is this my blood on my sleeves?"
"Am I insane?"
"Can I feel pain?"
"Who me?"

Mosserati in a Gremlin,
speeding at fifty-nine miles per hour over pot holes,
curbs in the serbs,
better than arriving on a tireless ten-speed on rims,
connection's not home...RATS!!!
Going down,
till I'm found,
that I'm bound to my bottom,
my bottom so low..
"Who me?"

Poor me, true me, who me, yes you,
little window pane in the rashness of my cool becks.
"I finally understand", said the flyer to the ex-buyer,
the liar ready to conspire with deeds done,
babies sired,
suns die,
I fly!...FLASH!

I remember a Nova,
she was large and red from somewhere down south constellation,
she's gone now,
"Where?"
"I don't know!"
"Don't care!"
Safety in numbers of stars clustered together in my palm,
PSALM 23!

Kissinger never had it so good,
Lenin never had it so good,
Mick Jaggar never had it so good,
as I do now,
when both of my arms hug air and my pockets are full of sand,
my heart filled with soul.

I am my fathers son,
my hearts jumps with a start at the love of life renewed in my reality.
"Are you Happy?"
"Who me?"
"Slip Yeah!!!"
