Music Theory and Composition - Lesson Three

I will start with a motif which represents, to this composer, the emotion of "expectation."   The way I created this motif is by letting my fingers find a random and pleasing collection of notes upon my keyboard using an ice-rain synth effect instrumental sound:

Now here is that same motif repeated over and over (This creates a wonderful foundation for a composition):

Now I will add a medoly line.   The way I created this melody motif is by letting my fingers find a melodic and pleasing collection of notes using a choir "ahh" instrumental sound.   I call this motif: "expectation's answer"   The first two staves are repeated and the third staff follows as the ending:
