Glass multicolored chrome-backed memory shards
rise in a metallic whirlwind from the dusty floor.
A tornado of my past,
slamming into a once broken frame,
the frame that is me!

Cheshire grin smiling,
visibly young and vibrantly handsome,
with a wild Chia Pet topping my cranium.
What's that?
That beautiful sound?
the sound of my soul happy,
happy at last...Suddenly,

You,
my funky past,
have no hold on me,
as chrome seas turn a deep blue,
so cool,
so azure,
so wild at history's end...Flash!

I'm cruising down the path to my destiny,
on a road to a beautiful thing called life,
humming to a chaotic melody,
I am what I is,
ecstatic to be who I be,
as I welcome you...My sweet reality!

Meanwhile,
In a ten by ten room,
ten addicts say,
"God grant me the serenity,
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference."

Flash! Flash! Flash!

As a jasmine scented candle goes out,
I throw my empty pen out the window of my desire.
