"Orientation Blue"

I was walking down the cool blue tiles
wondering just how I got here.
I was a DOA waiting for life to begin all over again.
Hanging ten on a hope board,
waves of despair all around me.
I asked God for a sign...Suddenly,
the sky opened up and showed me the stars in my pocket,
grains of sand which were blue.

"IDENTIFY YOURSELF!!!"
Came the request,
from where I don't know what I am,
"Is I a block of clay,
a rock,
or a paper machete?"

"IDENTIFY YOURSELF!!!"
Orientation Blue's my name.
I ran to run so that I could run down the cool blue tiles,
yellow streak down my lack of courage to fight my fear of self,
Hope enters the room...Silently!

"CREATE YOURSELF!!!"
I am your vision,
your lack of faith will dissipate as time rushes over the hot blue tiles.

"IDENTIFY YOURSELF!!!"
I am the creator,
the creator of me and my blue turns to azure,
the sand to glass while moving up in classes of thought,
the battles I've fought,
I've won!

"IDENTIFY YOURSELF!!!"
I was Orientation Blue now I'm the Dayglow Blues Writer,
strutting down these blue tiles,
creating rainbows in my wake,
while my spirit soars high.
